They Egyptians expected him to make sure that the Nile flooded every year, the people had enough to eat, the gods looked kindly on them, Egypt’s army could beat any army, Ma’at was the heart of Egyptian life

The symbol of power over upper Egypt
What is the red crown?
The symbol of power over lower Egypt
What is afterlife?
Life after death
What does Ma’at stand for?
Ma’at stood for justice, truth and order or balance
What did the people believe the gods did?
The people believed that the gods brought order and justice to Egypt
What did women have in ancient Egypt?
In ancient Egypt women had an individual identity and virtually the same legal status and legal and economic rights.
