The respiratory system absorbs oxygen and gets rid of carbon dioxide.

The circulatory system distributes blood containing oxygen and nutrients.

A
Kidneys get rid of waste and regulate the amount of water in the body.

What is the nervous system?
A
The nervous system transmits messages throughout the body: sensory neurons send messages to the brain, motor neurons carry messages from the brain to muscles. The nervous system and endocrine system regulate what goes on inside the body.
