A
  • 5 -14
  • FSH Increases which increase Follices to develop and mature
  • Follices Produce more estrogen
  • Estrogen Causes Endometrium to thicken

Q

Secretory Phase

A
  • Days 14 – 28
  • LH Cause the follicle to deteriorate into corpus luteum
  • Corpeus Lutem promote Progesteorone to be released
  • Progesterone promotes Thickening of the Endometrium
  • If No implantation occurs and estrogen and progesterone levels are high FSH and LH production is stopped
  • Corpeus Lutemum dengernates and decreases progesterone snd estro production
  • Low levels of horomones then trigger shedding of endometrium and menstrual phase
