corporate governance
characteristics which can affect effectiveness in compliance including executive compensation package design, internal control mechanisms, and top management style of control and thinking.
enterprise governance
constitutes the entire accountability framework of the organisation. two dimensions of enterprise governance are corporate governance and business governance.
strategic scorecard
forces boards to consider where the company is now, what its options are, how it will implement the options it chooses and how it will manage risk. it must be adapted to fit individual organisations. the four generic dimensions:
1. strategic position
2. strategic options
3. strategic implementation
4. strategic risk
environmental management accounting (EMA)
enables environmental costs to be identified, measured, and allocated appropriately to a process or to products and make it easier for managers to control and put cost savings into effect.
