The volume of medication to be administered.
Volumes are measured in?
Centimeters (cc) or milliliters (mL).
Centimeters (cc) and Milliliters (mL) are equivalent in?
Volume; therefore, a 1cc syringe is the same as 1mL syringe.
What does large volumes of medication require?
Large syringe sizes.
What are mostly used for intradermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections?
Smaller volumes—1-, 3- and 5-mL syringes.
