A) Effectively gather and interpret information relative to counseling situations; offer comfort, encouragement or other appropriate assistance in times of individual need.
B) Recognize our own counseling limitations and facilitate referral to appropriate care-giving professionals such as: Social Workers, Psychologists, Medical Services, other specifically trained Faith Leaders, etc.

As a Spiritual Leader we represent the people to God through worship, sacraments, ordinances or rituals and provide prayerful support
As a Servant Ruler we take on the active leadership role by lovingly caring for people. We do not exploit people.
