A progressive blood circulation disorder that causes for blood vessels to narrow, block and spasm
What are some symptoms of peripheral vascular disease?
Fatigue
Pain in legs, especially during exercise
Why is aspirin given to patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease?
This disease is associated with an increased risk of CV events
Also advise on smoking cessation, weight loss etc to reduce the risk further
