1) In the case of whole or real values, the expressions can contain operators such as +, -, *, /, ** and %.

2) The concatenation with operator + merges two character sets
(strings) into one new character set (string).

3) With Boolean values we use the logical operators and, or and
not. Note that the or is not the exclusive or.

4) For Boolean expressions, we can combine the above logical
operators with the comparison operations
