What is Onboarding?
The process of orienting a new employee to their position in an organization.
What does Onboarding activities include?
Completing new hire paperwork, team introductions and training.
What is the first thing the manager should do each time a new staff member joins their practice?
Send a welcome email to the new employee that includes when to arrive, where to park, lunch options, etc.
What is the second thing the manager should do each time a new staff member joins their practice?
Obtain any passes the new employee will need.

Provide the employee with secure computer logins and passwords.

Provide a copy of the policy and procedure manual as a reference tool.
