What are RAIDS 0 , 1 , 5?
Raid 0, also known as striping, is a transfer of information on hard drives with two hard drives. Both hard drives equate to more volume of space.
RaID 1 - MIRRORING. transfers all information and duplicates the information creating a backup. Preserves hard drive for hard drive failure.
RAID 5- is a combination of both using three or more. It uses parity and allows hard drives to recover information from a failing or crashed drive. neighboring drives have parity on different discs and rebuilds the drive.
What is the difference of HD and SSD cards?
Discs and chips.
What are voltages for input and output for power supply?
3.3, 5, -5 12, -12
What is the anatonomy of a hard drive?
platters, read/write heads, tracks, sectors, cylinders
clusters.
What is the media capacity of a CD- ROM?
650 MB, 700 MB, 800 MB, 900 MB
