Grande-

Thick- The vase has a very thick base

Thin- He cut a thin slice of meat.

Fat- I am a bit too fat for that outfit.

Thin- He is as thin as his father.
Magro - È magro come suo padre.
Skinny- I saw a skinny figure walking around the house.

Wide- This area is wide enough to build a house.

Narrow- You can’t pass from here. It’s too narrow.
Stretto- Non puoi passare da qui. È troppo stretto. (Poy)
Interesting- I’ve just finished reading a very interesting novel. I recommend it to you.

Boring- My job is so boring. I think I will have to look for something better.
Noioso (noy-oso)

Bored- He sat there on the sofa, bored and grumpy.
Annoiato- anne-no- yar- tow

High- That building shouldn’t be so high. It clashes with the others around.
Alto- Quell’edificio (e-dee-fee-chow) non dovrebbe essere così alto. Stona con gli altri intorno.
Low- Can you keep the volume low?
Basso- Puoi tenere il volume (volloomi like halloumi) basso?
Tall- He is not as tall as his brother, but he is certainly nicer.
Alto- Non è alto come suo fratello, ma è sicuramente più simpatico.
Short- He is too short to play basketball.
