A
Given the age of the galaxy, at least one intelligent civilization should have figured out how to colonized the galaxy. Why isn’t there evidence of that?

Doomsday Hypothesis
A
A possible solution to the Fermi Paradox; says that civilizations inevitably destroy themselves once they have created technology. Therefore, no intelligent civilization would have evolved much past the level of humans (and wouldn’t therefore have been able to colonize the galaxy).
