Stage 1: The muscles squeeze and that means birth is starting.
Stage 2: The cervix dilates and contractions become strong.
Stage 3: After the baby is born and the placenta is no longer needed, so it is pushed out of the mothers body.

Belly gets bigger and gain weight. They become very emotional. Mood changes quickly.
