Law

Order
A binding agreement between two parties, stipulated with blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience.
Covenant
Covenant between God and man (Adam) that mankind would be granted eternal life on the condition of his obedience.
Covenant of Works
God saves sinners by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
Covenant of Grace
Covenant between God and Noah that God will never again destroy the Earth.
Noahic Covenant
Covenant between Abraham and God that Abraham will be father to many nations (Who goes through the Covenant Ceremony)
Abrahamic Covenant
Covenant between Moses and God that the Israelites are to obey his law, and receive blessing. (Remember, grace came first and then works, therefore this is still a gracious covenant)
Mosaic Covenant
Covenant between David and God that one will always sit on David’s throne.
Davidic Covenant
Jeremiah 31; covenant between God and man that he will write his law on the hearts of his people.
New Covenant

Moral Law
These ceremonies of the Old Testament were pointing forward to Christ and are no longer active.
Ceremonial Law
Laws that were specifically for the nation of Israel. They are holy yet they are not required to be instituted in current nations.
Judicial Law
The area of law governing remedies for those wronged by others, such and negligence.
Tort Law
What was done in the past was done based on common sense and reason and should be precedent.
Common Law
Certain laws are based on natural rights / laws of nature (Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness)
Natural Law
System of laws by the Marxists to promote the working class over the privileged class.
Proletariat Law
The legal perspective that actions are lawful if honorable to the “god/divine” within.
Self Law
The legal system promoted by Islam, derived from the Qur’an and Hadiths.
Shariah Law
God reveals himself in nature and morality can be obtained through nature.
General Revelation
God reveals himself in the Scriptures, and in Christ Jesus.
