Cash Flow Statement
explains the change of cash flow from one accounting period to the next
Accrual vs. Cash Basis
accrual: tracks revenues and expense at period incurred
cash basis: record revenue/expense in the period that cash is collected/paid

i.e. Depreciation/amortization

Indirect Method
Cash Flow From Operations (CFFO)
Net income/loss, depreciation, and change in CA/CL
Cash Flow from Investing (CFFI)
property, plant, and equipment (long-term/non-current) assets
Cash Flow from Financing (CFFF)
Non-current liabilities (i.e. long-term notes payable)
Noncash Expenditures
Current Assets
assets that can be converted into cash within the year
Current Liabilities
liabilities that can paid off within the year
Long-Term Assets
assets that cannot be paid within the year
