A. IC my use VHF HT and go through vehicle repeater on Tactical Ch for emergency transmissions

Who shall bring the VHF vehicle repeater into the lobby?
The 1st arriving BC shall bring the Post Radio. The BC that activates their vehicle repeater is the only Battalion to bring VHF vehicle repeater HT into lobby.
When a Post Radio is implemented, what does the 2nd BC do?
2nd BC confers with IC in lobby, ascertains location of 2nd Eng Off, leaves Post Radio at ICP, and proceeds to location of 2nd Eng Off.
Who establishes the Fire Sector/Branch in Hi Rise Operation
2nd BC after getting a briefing from 2nd Eng Off. Announce over Primary Tactical Ch of HT radio that Fire Sector/Branch est and give location. Communications now relayed via Fire Sector/Branch. Then contact ICP via Post Radio on primary Command Ch.
Incorrect Post Radio
A. Due to radio frequency radiation hazard, no one within 2’ from transmitting radio
B. Frequency selector allows for all ch except Ch 9. Ch displayed via LCD screen
C. PTT handset is attached to side of radio. On/Off switch is located on top of case

A. Must notify Dispatcher that you are activating the vehicle cross band repeater. Only one operation utilizing vehicle repeater allowed citywide
B. Vehicle repeater shall be set initially set to Ch 2, the primary command ch. For optimal triangulation, Battalion rig shall be parked across the street from operation
C. All Battalions shall bring their Post Radio into lobby. In addition, 2nd BC shall bring VHF vehicle repeater HT into lobby
D. Both Post Radio and vehicle repeater HT shall be set to Ch 2, the Primary Command Ch
C BC who activates Cross Band Repeater shall bring VHF HT to lobby
