Community Corrections
Programs that keep someone in the community under supervision.
Probation
A sentence of imprisonment that is suspended.
Probation Revocation
Taking away someones probation due to violation.
Parole
After prison supervision.
Reentry
A criminals return to the community.
Parole Board
A state paroling authority. Decide release.
Discretionary Release
Release from prison to supervision.
Medical Parole
A early release due to health.
Mandatory Release
Release of an inmate, that is not decided by authority.
Parole (probation) Violation
Failure of rules. Does not confirm future.
Conditions of Parole (Probation)
Rules.
Parole Revocation
Removing person. May go back to prison.
Restitution
A court requirment that the criminal must pay money or services to the victim of the crime, or community service.
Revocation Hearing
A hearing before a board, whether the person has violated parole or probation.
Conditional Release
Release of an inmate from prion to community.
