reports- progress report on a project
letters- letters sent with a contract, to supply goods or services
emails- concerning the enterprise
examples of verbal communication that an enterprise would write formally are:
job interviews
negotiations
meetings
reasons for holding a meeting
managing a project: ensuring the everything is on track and is completed on schedule
managing people: review work accomplished.
working with a customer: customer relationships, especially in social enterprises
problems are rising: to make decisions to sort the problem
training people: cheaper and quicker to get a group together
conferences: share info and new ideas.
organising a meeting
a notice of the meeting: date, time, duration, venue, purpose and expected outcome
after this send agenda (5 work day before meeting): general (date, etc.), attendee list, minutes of the last meeting: key points, matters to be discussed, any other business, date and time of the next meeting.
key roles in the meeting
chairperson: makes sure it stays on track, set rules, evenly spread time for people and subjects.
minute taker: records summary of meeting, tasks allocated to other people, sends it out to everyone.
