The ability to recognize right from wrong. Justice, doing the right thing; considering the bigger picture
Moral development
Learning, speech, cognitive abilities, understanding concept like shape, color, numbers and worlds
Intellectual Development
The length of time a person can concentrate on a task without getting bored
Attention-span
Idea that one action results in another action or condition
Cause and Effect
The idea that objects continue to exist even when they are won’t of sight (about 10 months)
Object permanence
The use of words and numbers to stand for ideas
Symbolic thinking
Learning from the senses
Perception
Things to touch, handle, bang, shake, suck, and chew
Seven to nine months
Things to crawl after, manipulate
