Who implements strategy?

What is a simple structure?
consists of a central executive (often the owner-manager) who handles all major decisions and oversees all operations with the help of a small staff.
What is a functional structure?
A functional structure is organized into functional departments, with departmental managers who report to the CEO and small corporate staff. (Single businesses)
What is a multi divisional structure?
is a decentralized structure consisting of a set of operating divisions organized along business, product, customer group, or geographic lines, and a central corporate headquarters that allocates resources, provides support functions, and monitors divisional activities.
What is a M-Form Cooperative?
sharing among divisions where it makes sense to capture synergy (what is the strategy what is the implementation related diversification apple is an example)
What is an M-form Competitive?
no sharing among divisions (unrelated diversification not seeking synergy they start performing better least used yahama is an example)
What is a M-Form Geographic?
divisions based on geography no product( single business form who is doing business in Latin America, North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Central Asia and Africa an example is Sears)
What is a strategic business unit?
all of the same products in one business then the second business would be a different product and so on. (Lambarda in Canada) thy have related and unrelated businesses
