Clarity or sharpness of vision measured at a distance of 20 feet.
What does the term “20/20 vision” means?
The patient can see clearly at 20 feet.
If a patient has 20/40 vision, the patient must be?
Close as 20 feet to see what a person with normal vision can see at 40 feet.
Does “20/20 vision” means is is a person vision?
No.
Peripheral vision, eye coordination, depth perception ability to focus and ability to distinguish color are?
All contributing factors.
A procedure commonly performed by the MA is the measuring of a patient’s?
Visual Acuity.
For the adult patient, what does this screening process use?
Snellen chart.
What does a Snellen Chart consist of?
Alphabet letters in various combinations starting with a large E at the top.
