Oligarchy
government in which the power is held by a small group
Example: Communist China
Advantage/Disadvantage of Oglicharchy
Advantage: less citizenship responsibility
Disadvantage: not single leader, more potent to tyrannical power
Republic
a state where power rests on the people through elections
Example: USA
Advantage/Disadvantage Republic
Advantage: People have the power and have specific laws
Disadvantage: it can be costly and leaders sometimes break their promises
Authoritarian
those in power hold absolute and unchallengeable authority over the people
Example: North Korea
Advantage/Disadvantage Authoritarian
Advantage: Their power embraces all matters of human concern
Disadvantage: limits society’s progress because it tries to solve all concerns
Constitutional Monarchy
a monarch that excercises their power and is not alone in making decisions
Example: Canada
Advantage/Disadvantage Constitutional Monarchy
Advantage: the power embraces all matters of human concern
Disadvantage: central figurehead cannot be changed
Absolute Monarchy
the monarch has all the power
Example: Saudi Arabia
Advantage/Disadvantage Absolute Monarchy
Advantage: their are no prolonged rounds of voting
Disadvantage: can’t change figurehead
Direct Democracy
the leaders don’t make decisions, people vote directly. Example: Swizterland
Advantage/Disadvantage Direct Democracy
Advantage: everyone has a say in every issue
Disadvantage: slow
Purpose of the Consitution
to set up the government and the rules

controls everything

the systems should not be bribed and should be fair and unbiased

Why does feudalism emerge after the fall of Rome and why does it decline in the 17th and 18th centuries?
Fuedalism emerged after the fall or Rome because government was needed in a chaotic world. Bas on system of mutual obligation. Declines in 17th and 18th centuries dur to the emergence of the Enlightenment, and mercantile class has greater wealth
