Muscles
- allows movement
- helps with posture
- produces heat
What is the nervous system?
The brain
- fastest system
- activates muscles & glands
- responds to interior and exterior changes
What is the endocrine system?
Glands
- regulates hormones and everything else
- growth
- reproduction
- metabolism
What is the cardio vascular system?
Blood vessels
- transport materials via blood from heart
- oxygen
- carbon dioxide
- nutrients
- wastes
What is the lymphatic system?
Lymph nodes
- returns fluids to blood vessels
- Disposes of debris
- Involved in the immune system
- All throughout body
What is the respiratory system?
Breathing
- keeps blood supplied with oxygen
- Removes carbon dioxide
What is the urinary system?
Peeing
- Eliminates nitrogenous wastes
- Maintains acid-base balance
- Regulates Water and electrolytes
- Everything you pee was in your blood
What is the reproductive system?
Babies
- Production of offspring
- Only system that is completely different between guys and girls
