A passage that has another passage next together and also has their questions together.
Are you supposed to take notes on each paragraph when doing the STARR test?
Yes, even if it’s a small little note.
Do you pay attention to the photographs and underlined words in a passage?
Yes, definitely so you can know what there talking about when they mention it.
Is taking notes the same as showing proof for your answers?
No because
Taking notes are put next to the paragraph to show what is the main idea of the paragraph is.
Proving answers is when you write down a reason next to your answer explaining why it’s right.
What do you do when you don’t know what the main idea of a paragraph?
Just look at the first and/or the second sentence it will give you a hint.
What do you do when you meet a word that you don’t know?
Try to look at the words surrounding it and what the sentence it’s in talking about.
