A 16th century movement in which the roman Catholic Church sought to make changes in response to the Protestant reformation

A member of a Christian church founded on the principles of the reformation
What were the cause of the reformation ?
- the renaissance speed secular ideas

What were the criticisms of the Catholic Church?
- many leaders were corrupt
- many leaders were too concerned with worldly goods
- many priests and monks were uneducated
Why did Martin Luther write the 95 theses?
To complain against the churches flaws

What were Luther’s 3 main beliefs?
- People win salvation by faith alone
- Church teachings are based on the bible alone
- People can interpret the bible for themselves

Threatening to/taking away the right to being catholic

The document that stated Luther was was an outlaw and heretic. He wasn’t to be fed, sheltered ect.

The name of the religion that Luther created
