Site- physical character of a place
Situation- location of a place relevant to other places
What two questions do all geographers ask?

Differentiate absolute and relative location.
Absolute locations are pinpoint and exact locations in the world. Relative locations are how locations are depicted by where they are and what they are surrounded by or near.
Difference in details between large-scale maps and small-scale maps.
Large-scale covers more land with less detail. Small-scale covers less land with more detail.

GIS is a computer system that can capture, store, query, analyze, and display geographic data. Remote sensing is when the data is squired through a satellite.

Hierarchical- when someone publicly important introduces something that catches on.
Contagious- when something spreads through people, almost like catching a disease
Stimulus- spread of an underlying principle, like when Apple began a better trend of clicking a mouse rather than typing a stein of words.
