Q: what is a renewable resource?
A: A renewable resource is a resource which can be replaced in a short period of time.
Q: What is a natural resource?
A: A natural resource is a raw mineral which occurs in the environment which is useful to others. Such as water to drink or soil to produce food.
Q: Name places where water would of been in the same place for the longest?
A: Arctic ice sheets, groundwater, glaciers, oceans and large lakes.
Q: Is water a renewable resource. Explain.
A: Yes, it is constantly being recycled through the water cycle.
Q: Provide your own example on how the water cycle works.
A: The water cycle works in many different ways, for example, a animal, maybe a cat, urinates. The urine would then evaporate into the clouds, which will then condense and then precipitate as rain, hail or snow, and then it will travel into the river where everyone gets water from!
Q: What does the word permeable mean?
A: The word permeable means something that liquid and gas can go through or past through.
Q: What is groundwater recharge?
A: Groundwater recharge is the process when water moves down from the Earths surface into the groundwater.
Q: What is ground water?
A: Water that is found under the Earths surface.
