Deals with numbers or amounts.

Deals with descriptions that cannot be expressed in numbers.

Inference- The reason involved in drawing a conclusion

Means making a statement or a claim about what will happen in the future based on past experience or evidence.
What is classifying?
Is the grouping together items that have the same properties.
What is making models?
Involves creating representations of complex objects or processes.
What is evaluating?
Involves comparing observations and data to come to a conclusion about them.
What is a scientific investigation?
Is the way in which scientists study the natural world.
What is science?
Is the way of learning about the natural world.
