What Is the Political Nation?
People in early modern Britain who had social, economic and political influence.

The power of the crown derived from the belief of divine right to rule.

A form of economic support for a particular undertaking e.g promoting crown policies such as warfare.

A monarch could become self sufficient and rule ‘absolutist’.
