Hardware and Software
Hardware - physical component of a computer system
such as keyboard, mouse
Software - programs that control the hardware and produces desired results
1. System Software - manages the hardware components (OS)
2. Application Software - provide users with daily needs of programs such as Powerpoint, Word
Data, Process and People
Data - raw facts and unprocessed information
such as fields
Processes - Describe the tasks done by users to achieve wanted results such as Generating a REPORT
People - Users / a person that is involved with the use of IS
