Refers to the changes that occurs to the body and it’s systems.

Growth
Growth refers to organs and systems getting bigger in size.
Changes to the body systems
Tissues and systems also change in structure and function. #These changes include an increase in complexity and the decline in function that occurs as a normal part of ageing.
Motor skills
Motor skills refers to control of the muscles in the body.
Social development
The increasing complexity of behaviour patterns used in relationships with other people.
Aspects of social development
1) Behaviours - Interaction changing according to the situation.
2) Determining their values and believes
3) Adjusting to Social roles and expectations
4) Learning Communication skills
5) Learning and understanding Relationship skills
Gross motor skills
Manipulation and coordination of large muscle groups
Fine motor skills
Manipulation and coordination of small muscle groups
What is Identity
Identity is the establishment of a unique personality and refers to how an individual defines him/herself and is based on thier values and beliefs.
Emotional development
Refers to the development of full range of emotions and learning appropriate ways of dealing and expressing these emotions.
