Definition of Communication
Communication is the process of giving, receiving, or exchanging information, opinions, or ideas through writing, speech, or visual means.
Why do we need to communicate?
To inform, express feelings, influence and to meet social expectations
What is verbal communication?
Verbal communication is the use of spoken words to share information, ideas, or messages. It includes face-to-face conversations, phone calls, radio, television, and other media. This form of communication allows for immediate feedback between the sender and receiver.
What is non-verbal communication?
Non-verbal communication is to convey meaning or expressing feelings consciously or subconsciously through means other than words.
Why is it important to actively listen?
Its to understand the real meaning of the words and the unspoken message behind them.
What do you have to evaluate while actively listening?
Evaluate the tone, the emotion and the context of the situation.
