They are made up of amino acids. (Carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen.)

Meat, fish, eggs, milk and dairy products, soya beans quorn.
What are some Low Biological Value Protein?
Peas, beans, lentils, nuts, muesli, whole cereals.
What are the functions of protein?
Helps body cells to grow, forms hormones, forms enzymes, helps body to repair damaged cells, heat and energy
