Define Fashion Modeling.
Fashion modeling recruits models to pose for artistic photo shoots and adorn clothing and accessories during runway shows. High-fashion models display fashion designs in magazine editorials, and they serve as spokespeople to represent brands.

- Catwalk - These are the tall skinny fashion models you see on the runway. They model clothes in fashion shows.
- Fashion Modeling - Covers a wide range of work from editorials and covers for fashion magazines to commercial advertising campaigns for manufacturers.
- Commercial Models
- Commercial models advertise any and all products - from banking, insurance, cars, food items, etc. They are like the average consumer but only more attractive.
- TV Commercials
Models used for commercials aired on television. they model for any and all products or services required.
- Children & Family
Models range from baby, toddler to children up to 12 years of age. They generally model for games, toy games, magazines, catalogues, etc.
- Teen Models
Teen models are generally slim and in proportion and can be shorter than fashion models. these models generally range from 15-17 years of age. Some models in their 20s can also pass off as slightly younger and can stay in this market for some time.
- Glamour Modeling
Glamour Models are physically in proportion and model mainly for swimsuits, nude shoots or underwear catalogs.
- Pregnancy Modeling
Agencies look for professional models or pregnant women of four months or above. They usually advertise for maternity wear, maternity products or baby products or services.
- Plus Size & Petite
Plus Size models are usually female with a minimum dress size of 12 and around 5 ft. 9 inches tall. They must still be in proportion. Their work generally includes specialist catalogues and fashion shows.
- Fittings Modeling
These models have what is considered well-proportioned. They model for the clothes to be fitted onto them by designers before they go into shops or hit the market.
- In-House Modeling
These models show the new season’s clothes of high end and high street fashion houses to fashion buyers. These models must fit the sample size. For women, it is US size or 6 or UK size 8 or 10.
