1) Primary
2) Secondary
3) Tertiary
What dose it mean if so thing is renewable.
Renewable resources can be used over and over again
If you look after them, they will not run out.
These are also called infinite resources.
What dose it mean if something is non-renewdable?
Non-renewable resources are resources that can only be used once.
Each time such resources are used, less of that resource is left the future.
Non-renewable resources will eventually run out. These are also called finite resources.

What is portable water?
Water the is safe for humans and animals to drink.
What is irrigation?
This is an artificial watering of the land to help crops grow in places where rainfall lacks.

What dose the term drought mean?
Lack of rainfall

Irrigation was done by getting the water from the Sacramento River.
How did people get water to the south ?
Built dams on either end of the scromento river to build up water.
Man made channels were made to pipe water from the north to the south.
What are the advantages to irrigation?
~The valley is now irrigated In Times of drought
~Towns and cities have water supplies
What are the dis-advantages to irrigation?
~Very expensive to build the dams.
~cost of pumping the water is high so produce is high .
~water evaporates from the reservoirs which leaves the salt content high.
~can lead to poisoning the land.
