Article 6 of ECHR
Everyone is entitled to a fair (and public) hearing within a reasonable time by an independent and impartial tribunal, recognising that the press and the public may be excluded from all or part of the proceedings for a variety of reasons, including for the protection of the private life of parties
Article 8 ECHR
“Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence.” The interference of this right must be justified in accordance with the law and where necessary in a democratic society, for a number of reasons e.g protection of the rights and freedoms of others
Article 12 of ECHR
“Men and women of marriageable age have the right to marry and to found a family, according to the national laws governing the exercise of this right”
Article 14 of ECHR
ECHR rights and freedoms shall be secured without discrimination on any ground such as sex, race, colour, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, association with a national minority, property, birth or other status. One of the other ECHR rights must be engaged for Art 14 to be relied on
