Either a prefix or suffix added to a root word
Derivative
A word created through affixation, but which has a different meaning than the root word.

The different grammatical forms of a word (created through affixation)

A root word plus its inflexitons and most common derivatives

Words that are related in kind
Co-hyponyms
Hyponymy whose relationship is in the same level in a hierarchy
Superordinate
A hyponym which is one level above another in a hierarchy
Meronymy
A relationship where one hyponym is a part of another
Lexical field
A set of lexical items which share a thematic relationship
