What is a Natural Disaster compared to Natural Catastrophe?
A Disaster is termed as a sudden or great misfotune, a calamity. A Catastrophe is termed as a widespread disasterthat subverts the system of things; a disastrous end.
Describe the Qualitative scale for Disasters and Catastrophes.
1.Local Disaster (a significant disruption contained to local society and communities) 2.Regional Disaster (a disruption to something greater than a single city, widerspread issues) 3. Regional Catastrophe (Regional Disaster with death and numerous injuries to regional population) 4. Global Catastrophe (magnitude of the disruption is felt on a global scale, death of entire species is common)
