Q

What is the most complex mode of critical thinking? Why?

A

The most complex mode of critical thinking is synthesizing information. I would say it’s synthesizing information because you are combining a bunch of different elements into a whole. So you’re pulling two things from a text and mushing them together into a new idea. It could also include predicting, inventing, redesigning, or imagining the idea from a different perspective. So it not only involves reason, but also some imagination. You need to be able to look at things a bit sideways.
