Sacred Deposit
The first 46 books of the Bible, which tell of God’s Covenant with the people of Israel and his plan for the salvation of all people
Old Testament
Explanation of the words of Scripture, combining human knowledge and the teaching office of the Church under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Interpretation
God’s gift of himself to us and all that God has taught us about Himself and His plan for His people
Revelation
The first five books of the Old Testament. The Hebrew word for law is Torah. The ancient law is summarized in the 10 Commandments.
