what does blind to the research hypothesis mean?
when participants in research are not aware of what is being studied.
what do people find attractive in strangers?
people find symmetry attractive, smooth skin, and large eyes. but when it comes to rating someone they know, physical features are less important and personality traits become better predictors of whos considered good looking.
what is attitude?
attitudes are opinions, feelings, and beliefs about a person, concept, or group.
what are the most studied topics in attitude research?
stereotyping and prejudice.
what is stereotyping?
a mental process of using information shortcuts about a group to navigate social situations or make decisions.
