1-on demand self services : a consumer can automatically accessing computing resources server time and storage without human interaction
2-board network access : capabilities can be accessed over network on various devices like phones laptops
3-resource pooling : the provider of resource pooling for multiple consumer , assigning them based on demand the customer specify general location but cant know the exact location
4-rapid elasticity : capabilities can be quickly scaled up or down to meet demand appearing virtually unlimited to consumer who can access them anytime .
5-measured services : cloud system optimize resources use through metering for each system type , monitoring and reporting usage to ensure transparency for both provider and consumer

what is infrastructure as a service
consumer can use cloud resources to run their software and manage application program but they cant control underlying infrastructure and they have limited control to network components like fire walls

consumer can deploy their application on cloud using supported tools but they can’t manage infrastructure , but they can control their application and some host settings
example : google app engine

what is software as service
the consumer can access the provider cloud app through web browser or interface can’t manage infrastructure only have limited control to app settings

what is public cloud
cloud infrastructure publicly accessible can be owned by business universities government agencies , located on provider premises
what is csb
its an entity that’s acts intermediary between cloud consumer and provider / cloud broker manage the use performance and the delivery of cloud services
what is private cloud
cloud infrastructure that only used by one organization with multiple users its can managed and owned by organization , third party or both . may be in or off site
what is the deference between premise private and externally hosted
cloud deployed by organization within its premises , cloud implementation is outsourced by to external provider within provider premises
what is community cloud
cloud infrastructure that serve specified communities or organization with shared concerns such as security can managed and owned by one or more organization or third party , may be on or off site
what is hybrid cloud
cloud infrastructure that combines three trip of cloud into unique entities , connected by technology that enable data and app probability , cloud bursting for load balancing
