a program of care given by specialists, such as physical therapists, to store or improve function after an illness or injury
rehabilitation
holistic, compassionate care for people who have approximately six months or less to love; care is available until the person dies
hospice care
the practice of bringing pets into a facility or home to provide stimulation and companionship
animal assisted therap (AAT)
a federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, have certain disabilities or permanent kidney failure, or are ill and cannot work, based on residents needs upon admission

a medical assistance program for people who have low incomes, as well as for people with disabilities, based on residents needs upon admission

speech-language pathologist (SLP)
plans activities for residents to help them socialize and stay physically and mentally active

medical social worker (MSW)
method of care in which each member of he care team is given specific tasks to perform for a large number of residents

method of care that revolves around the resident and promotes each individuals preferences, choices, dignity, and interests
