What does the Governor General do?
They represent Britain’s monarch in Canada and are part of the executive and legislative branches of government. However, they don’t play an active role in Canadian politics.

Responsible for putting laws into action/proposing the laws. They run the day-to-day business of the government.

What are the steps to becoming a PM?

What is the cabinet?
People with the responsibility of different government departments/portfolios. Cabinet ministers are a part of the leading political party in the HoC and are members of parliament.
