Lines parallel to the equator measured in degrees from the equator
What is a great circle track?
A straight line that goes all the way around the earth. Only 1 line can be drawn between 2 locations unless they are on opposite sides of the earth)
What is a small circle track?
A circle drawn around the earth that does not pass over the centre
What is a rhumb line?
A great circle that runs at a constant angle relative to true north
