What is the difference between living things and non living things

A

Living things: A living thing must have the five characteristics to be living (example of a living thing is humans and animals because they have all the five characteristics.)
Non living things: A non living thing is a thing that doesn’t have the five characteristics. (Example of a living thing is a pencil or book because they don’t have the five characteristics.)
