Interpersonal communication
Communication between two or more people.
Communication
The process of sharing information by using symbols to send and receive messages.
Message
Consist of the ideas and feelings that make up the content of communication.

The person who sends the message

Interview
Form of communication in which people ask and answer questions.
Group discussion
A face to face meeting amount a small number if people who convey information, express their views, and reach conclusion about particular issues.
Audience
The listeners or spectators attending a presentation or a performance to inform, persuade, or entertain them.
Debate
a formal communication situation in which speakers take opposing sides in an issue and try to prove or disprove a statement about that issue.
Parliamentary procedure
A set of rules used to conduct or deny meeting.
Oral reading
A performing art in which literature is read aloud and interpreted for an audience.
Drama
A performing art in which the characters in a play are interpreted and presented by actors on a stage.
Electronic communication
Includes radio, television, and video; three of the most common and influential means of mass communication.
Individual characteristics
You look at such things as a person’s personality, interest, and aspirations.
Cultural characteristics
You look at such things as age religion and national ethnic background.
Sociological characteristics
You look at elements such as their affiliations, their educational background, and their occupation.
Encoding
The process of turning ideas and feelings into verbal and nonverbal symbols
Decoding
Finding the meaning of verbal and nonverbal symbols
Interference
Is anything that gets in the way of clear communication
Physical noise
Consist up any sound that prevents a person from being heard
Psychological noise
The thoughts and feelings that distract people from listening to what is said
Semantic noise
The interference caused by words that trigger strong negative feelings against the speaker or the content of the speech
