Relates to procedural knowledge within a kinesiology degree
Procedural knowledge
Is knowing how to do something such as being able to execute an action
Professional emphasis
Focuses on preparing students within a kinesiology degree for a career or profession

Refers to skill related physical activity
Sub-fields of kinesiology
These are the various areas of kinesiology that investigate physical activity from different levels of analysis
Supportive movement
Physical activity of a functional nature necessary to support a certain lifestyle
Symbolic movement
Physical activity that expresses thoughts and feelings through the symbolic medium of the body
Time scales
The elapsed time between significant events occurring at a given level of analysis
