What is protoplasm?
It is all the living parts of a cell.
What is the chromatin?
Is the name given to chromosomes when They are enlongated and not dividing
What is the difference between prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells?
Prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus or membrane-enclosed organelles and eukaryotic cells have a nucleus and cell organelles,all of which are enclosed by membranes.
What is the function of a vacuole in the plant cell?
It helps to give the cell strength and shape and may also store materials
What is the nucleus?
It is The control centre of the cell.
What is the function of the nucleolus?
It makes ribosomes.
What is the function of the mitochondria?
It supplies energy to the cell
What are chloroplasts in the plant cell?
Chloroplasts are green structures in plants in which photosynthesis takes place.
What is the function of the cell walls?
It is to support and strengthen the cell
What is the function of ribosomes?
To make proteins.
What are the characteristics of the plant cell?
The characteristics of the plant cell : cell wall,cell membrane,cytoplasm,nucleus,vacuole.
What are the characteristics of the animal cells?
Cell membrane,cytoplasm,nucleus.
