Which side reflexes are checked and treated first?
Left side
On the lateral aspect of the femur (IT band) from the left greater trochanter to within 2 in of knee
Broad Ligament/Prostate
A band 1-2 inches wide on the anterolateral aspect of the left femur, from one inch above the patella to the greater trochanter.
Left colon
From the upper to lower border of pubic bone (round ligament/spermatic cord)
Gonads
*ovaries/testicles
Lowest 2/5 of Sartorius
Groin Glands
One inch superior and one inch lateral to umbilicus
Kidney
One inch lateral and 2 to 2.5 inches superior to the umbilicus bilaterally
Adrenals
2nd intercostal space, close to the sternum
Thyroid Gland
*5th intercostal space, mid-clavicular line to the sternum
Stomach Acidity
*6th intercostal space, mid-clavicular line to the sternum
Stomach Peristalsis
From of the body of sternum (gladiolus) from the manubrium to xiphoid
Pyloris
*7th intercostal space near junction of cartilages
Spleen
S for Seventh
*8th, 9th, and 10th intercostal spaces near the costal cartilage
Small intestine
Anterior aspect of humerus, from the surgical neck inferiorly
Eye
conjunctiva/retina
Upper edge of clavicle just beyond where it crosses first rib
